Is Tire Recycling Profitable?
Is it possible to make big money turning waste tires into rubber crumb, wire, and fiber?
Most of the raw material (waste tires) comes with a paycheck. Tire recycling should be profitable coming and going, not just coming. A new rubber granulator system appears to make it profitable even without the front-end tire collection fees. Conventional granulating systems do not seem to be very profitable without those front-end fees.
Considering the mega-millions of tires disposed of every year all over the world, significant recycling opportunities exist for investors to earn dividends.
Land filling or burning tires for energy has limited prospects. There are other far more profitable uses.
More and more large volume uses are emerging for end products made from the rubber, steel, and textile derived from recycling tires. See www.scraptirenews.com for the latest.
